Guy and Ice by Drew Edward Johnson

- Write statements to seven people without saying who they are. Try to use the following words/concepts, one for each person:
- Praise
- Blame
- Loss
- Gain
- Pleasure
- Pain
- Fame
- I’d be so lost right now if you hadn’t reached out, and maybe I have trouble saying this often enough, but thanks. Two weeks, two years, doesn’t matter. You’re the best friend I think I’ve ever had.
- Well, what did ya expect was gonna happen?
- It’s not a total loss. The cool part is, I get to have my first time with you all over again!
- It seems in you I’ve gained an enemy. I’m damned if I do, I’m damned if I don’t, but I’ll be damned if I give a damn WHAT you think.
- It’s not that I don’t trust you. In fact, part of me wants to try it, the way others have. Some have said they found it pleasant, peaceful an’ all. It’s the process I don’t trust…and maybe the outcome.
- I didn’t want to hurt you. I had no choice. At least now you can move on.
- I wouldn’t want your fame, the good or the bad. I think you don’t want my anythin’.
